The Opening and the Unity

Pickthall’s 1930 English comes first. The Tanzil Arabic sits beside it on a wide screen and under it on a phone. Neither text is edited. Pickthall prints the opening phrase on its own line. Tanzil numbers that phrase as 1|1 in The Opening, and includes it at the start of line 112|1 in The Unity.
